Kim Dongsan & Blueeewoot are Suwon-based folk/blues musician Kim Dongsan and his band. Nicknamed "Korea's Woody Guthrie," Kim Dongsan is noted for music with social messages. He sings about laid-off workers and victims of gentrification and runs the LP and recycling shop "Long Player" near Janganmun in Suwon, developing it into a local cultural space.
Wandering Band is a "street band" formed in 2011 around singer-songwriter Jang Hyunho. They sing at sites of social struggle and conflict, standing in solidarity for over a decade at events such as the Sewol Ferry truth-finding movement, the Gangjeong naval base protest, the KTX crew reinstatement struggle, the Pinetek rooftop sit-in, and the Colt/Coltex workers' struggle.
A versatile solo artist spanning indie, folk/blues, jazz, and new age. She runs the cultural space "Woodpecker Bookshop," creating intersections between music and literature. She aims to expand her artistic boundaries by combining music with visual art and performance.
An independent musician who explores unique sounds and expresses deep affection for the environment and peace through music. She enjoys diverse genres and has built her own distinctive musical world. With lyrical music inspired by stars and the moon, she delivers a message of peace with delicate sensibility and deep lyrics.
A jazz duo of Yejin Angela Park and Hwang Seulgi. Rooted in jazz, they explore diverse and beautiful sounds together. With improvisation and experimentation, they delicately capture the consciousness of modern society, expressing ordinary daily life and the tensions embedded within conflict regions.
A collaboration where Jai's warm voice meets HANASH's innovative electronic music to explore new possibilities. Jai expresses everyday stories with a sad but powerful voice, while HANASH experiments by combining instruments and genres from around the world with electronic music. Their meeting shows a harmonious fusion of tradition and modernity.
