
Jo Seongil spent fourteen years, beginning in 1998, as a central vocalist in the minjung music group Kkotdaji and wrote songs such as "Hope," "Whistle," and "Fighter." After going solo in 2012, he settled in Seogwipo, Jeju, and has continued to release records that offer comfort in the midst of heavy realities.
