Yoon Seonae emerged from Seoul National University's singing group Meaeri and the student coalition Saebyeok, becoming one of the defining female voices of minjung song during the democracy movement of the 1980s. After the Sewol ferry disaster, he became engaged with social issues and began standing with residents against violence and humiliation during the THAAD deployment in Soseong-ri. He moved his address to Soseong-ri and has continued peace activism for nearly eight years, gaining attention for a unique musical style that combines Gyeongsang dialect with blues.

Dongbaek Small School is an alternative school in Jeju that practices project-based education around ecology, human rights, and peace. Together they present a rhythm of peace created by a local community and young people.

Oh Jaehwan is a folk singer-songwriter who has long expressed solidarity with social struggles through music. He has released albums including "시킨건 곧잘한다" and "섬의 노래," and has appeared consistently at Gangjeong Peace & Music Camp since its very first year.

Son Hyunsuk began making music in the minjung song group Dume at Soongsil University.
